Well, by having both a male and female barn cat on staff, it was only inevitable that we would soon have kittens, and indeed the time has come. Travis and Kerrie, incredible staff members at Elkin Creek Guest Ranch, happened upon them in the old staff accommodation, taking up residence between the old couch cushions. I headed over to take some pictures and found three cute little fur balls scurrying around, two of which didn’t seem to mind the attention, and one, well all black and all attitude. He may be the best ‘mouser’ (catching mice at the barn) though.

I understand this isn’t a bear, moose, deer, cougar, or any usual kind of Chilcotin wildlife, but becauase I haven’t caught a shot of any all season, I thought you might enjoy these critter pictures.
